Wireshark
The desktop packet analyzer that reads PCAP files, and the reason PCAP is the format everything else
writes. It enters this spoke as a destination: pcapdroid captures on a phone and can stream
the traffic live to Wireshark on a computer, or export a .pcap for it to open later.
That relationship is the only thing evidenced here so far. Wireshark’s own dissectors, capture architecture and history are unsourced in this spoke — this page exists so network-traffic-analysis has somewhere to point when a capture tool hands its output to something else, which is the normal shape of the workflow: capture where the traffic is, analyze where the screen is.
