Irreducible

The company behind Binius. Benjamin E. Diamond and Jim Posen wrote binius from here, and the paper describes Binius as "an open-source production-grade Rust implementation of our protocol" — a research group that ships the thing it publishes.

It also supplies this spoke's baseline. Binius64, a later system from the same house, is what flock measures itself against and reports beating by roughly 9× on SHA-256, 7× on Keccak and 14× on BLAKE3. Being the number everyone else quotes is a position: the prior state of the art in fast binary- field proving, by other people's description as well as its own.

No corporate detail beyond the affiliation and the two author email addresses is evidenced in the sources held here. A thin node, kept because it recurs across both proof-system sources.
