Orson Peters
Software author, GitHub handle orlp, based in Leiden, Netherlands. Author of polyxor128, this spoke's first source outside the proof-system corpus.
Best known outside this spoke for pdqsort (pattern-defeating quicksort), which he first published in
2015 and which is now the default unstable sort in Rust's standard library and used in Go's sort
package. He also co-authored the Rust standard library's later driftsort/ipnsort sorts and wrote
glidesort. His earlier hashing work, polymur-hash, is a separate, unproven universal-hash implementation
in C. polyxor128 is not described anywhere read here as its successor. He currently works on query
execution at Polars (the DataFrame library), unrelated to this spoke's subject and recorded here only as
identifying context, not as a node.
