Niels Rogge
Maintainer of transformers-tutorials, and a significant contributor to HuggingFace’s Transformers library — he added the implementations of Vision Transformer, DETR, LUKE and many other models to it. Discovered while ingesting the tutorials.
The two facts are one fact, and it explains the repository’s shape. A person who ports models into a library accumulates exactly the knowledge a tutorial for those models needs, and the repo’s coverage tracks the library’s catalogue because he built much of that corner of it.
