The Data Intelligence Lab at the University of Hong Kong, led by chao-huang, and the group behind lightrag and rag-anything. Discovered while ingesting the latter; the lightrag page had recorded the affiliation inline and flagged its own thinness there.

Worth a node because the corpus holds two of its systems and they are a lineage, not two entries: RAG-Anything is built on LightRAG and inherits its incremental-update design, so a claim about one often constrains the other. The group ships as open source under its GitHub organization rather than publishing method papers alone, which is why both entries here are simultaneously a paper and a repository.

Its other RAG work — VideoRAG (long-context video) and MiniRAG — is named in the RAG-Anything material but is not otherwise sourced in this corpus.
