The company (formerly Facebook) that owns WhatsApp and operates the WhatsApp Business Platform. In this spoke Meta is the platform owner and first-party documentation publisher: it defines the Cloud API, the WABA model, the template approval regime and pricing, and the Solution-Partner / BSP program.

Relevant nodes drawing on Meta’s docs: whatsapp-business-platform-docs (the WABA reference) and whatsapp-solution-partner (the partner get-started). Client SDKs like wapi-go and BSP vendors like Wassenger build on top of Meta’s API rather than being Meta itself.
