WhatsApp Solution Partner get-started

Meta‘s onboarding guide for becoming a WhatsApp Solution Partner — the heavier of the two paths onto the platform (the lighter being a direct-integration client SDK like wapi-go). It defines the BSP / Solution-Partner role.

What the get-started involves

  • Access & permissions — access tokens and the permission set a partner needs.
  • Embedded (in-app) signup — the flow a partner embeds so their business customers can onboard their own WABA without touching Meta directly.
  • Credit line — a shared billing/credit-line arrangement the partner establishes to pay for their customers’ messaging.
  • Role split — distinct pathways for Tech Providers vs Solution Partners (see business-solution-provider).
  • Messaging surfaces a partner can offertemplates across categories, authentication flows (one-tap / zero-tap / copy-code), utility/service messages, interactive features, groups, calling, and webhooks.

Significance

This is the intermediation layer of the platform: a BSP resells/embeds WhatsApp so downstream businesses don’t integrate Meta themselves. It is the role a vendor such as Wassenger plays in practice.
