Wassenger

A commercial WhatsApp API / messaging-automation platform (GitHub org wassengerhq). Relevant here as the owner/maintainer of whatsapp-chatgpt-bot, an open-source (MIT) reference bot that demonstrates plugging an OpenAI model into WhatsApp through Wassenger’s API. The bot is effectively developer marketing for the paid API: it turns a WhatsApp number into a multimodal GPT-4o assistant using Wassenger for connectivity (webhooks, message send/receive).

Thin node — evidence is the repo itself. Sits in the channel/gateway-vendor stratum (a messaging platform packaging an LLM agent for its channel), distinct from the agent-building framework vendors (langchain, microsoft) elsewhere in this spoke. In WhatsApp-platform terms it plays the business-solution-provider (BSP) role on the whatsapp-business-platform — both documented cross-wiki in business-messaging-wiki.
