Journal of Statistical Software
Peer-reviewed open-access journal published by the American Statistical Association, carrying papers about statistical software together with the software itself. Discovered while ingesting org-mode-literate-programming, which it published as volume 46, issue 3 in January 2012.
A journal that reviews and publishes the code alongside the article is reproducible-research enforced at the venue, not argued for in the text — which is why it earns a node here rather than staying a citation. The Org Babel paper was submitted in December 2010 and accepted in October 2011: a ten-month review for a piece of Emacs tooling.
