Stencil Labs, Inc.

The company behind omp. The repository's LICENSE section carries "© 2026 Stencil Labs, Inc." alongside the MIT grant, and stencil.so — a near-empty page reading "Stencil" with a single link to its blog — serves the images the Harness Problem post embeds (stencil.so/blog/the-harness-problem/…), while the post itself is published on Can Bölük's personal blog. That overlap is the whole verified basis for the connection; it is enough to say the project has a company behind it, and not enough to say anything about funding, headcount, or what the company sells.

A thin node on purpose. No product, pricing, team page or corporate filing was found, and none is asserted here. The shape is the record: omp is MIT-licensed and open all the way down, and an incorporated entity holds the copyright — the same open-core-adjacent posture as earendil-works behind Pi upstream. Two of this spoke's most-starred harnesses are personal-feeling open projects with a company on the copyright line, and in neither case is the business model stated anywhere.

The teaser "omp², soon!" on omp.sh's front page (2026-09-06) is the only forward-looking signal from either party, and it says nothing about what it is.
