Zheyuan "Max" Kong
Creator of auto-company, the cross-platform daemon that runs Claude Code or Codex CLI as a 14-persona
autonomous "company" with a single markdown file as its cross-cycle memory. GitHub MaxMiksa; lists a Carnegie
Mellon (Tepper) affiliation in the repo's contact section. Written 2026-07-22: Thin node — the repo is the only evidence. Corrected 2026-08-30. The repo's own contact block now gives a full identity — Zheyuan (Max) Kong,
Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business, Pittsburgh, with a university address — and there is a
second project under the same account, Gravity, described as a local AI agent studio. There
is also third-party write-up coverage of auto-company describing its daemon loop (wake, read
shared memory, form a 3–5 person squad from the 14 personas, execute, update state, sleep). So: a
named person at a named institution with two projects, not an anonymous account with one.
