GitHub handle behind jcode. No biography evidenced — the account, the repository, and the project site (jcode.sh) are the whole record, as with mahipal-jangra before a name surfaced. Thin node.
What the work shows rather than what the profile says: three supporting projects built because the
existing layer was judged inadequate — mermaid-rs-renderer (inline diagram rendering with no browser
or TypeScript dependency), handterm (a terminal emulator with a native scroll API, because custom
scrollback and smooth partial-line scrolling can’t coexist in existing terminals), and the stated
intent to replace git’s concurrency model for multi-agent work after rejecting worktrees. The pattern
is consistent: when the dependency doesn’t do it, write the dependency.
jcode reached 13.1k stars in under seven months as a single-author project (jcode).
