Agent Starter Pack (Google Cloud)

A google Cloud toolkit for rapidly building and deploying production AI agents from pre-built templates. The deploy/operate end of the agentic-coding-harness story — less about writing code than about getting an agent into production.

What it provides

  • Templates for common patterns: ReAct, RAG, multi-agent, Live Multimodal API.
  • Testing & evaluation — integrated Vertex AI evaluation + an interactive playground.
  • Production infra — Cloud Run / Agent Engine with monitoring, observability, CI/CD.
  • Customizable templates; positioned to go “from idea to deployment faster.”

Why it routed here

Alongside adk in google‘s agent ecosystem (Vertex AI / Agent Engine). It is the closest thing in this burst to the production concern that the parked ai-demo-to-production source (in the hub _inbox) gestures at — the eval/observability/deploy scaffolding around an agent — but framed as concrete agent-building tooling, which is why it routes here rather than parking. Status: maintenance mode, development moving to agents-cli (migration encouraged). (Caveat: vendor docs.)

Re-verified 2026-08-04 — maintenance mode

The project is in maintenance mode: critical fixes only, no new features. Active development has moved to agents-cli, with a migration guide published.

Second entry in today’s queue to be superseded rather than merely stale — get-shit-done was archived outright. Both were ingested in June. The templates it documents (ReAct, RAG, multi-agent, Live Multimodal API on Google Cloud) still stand as a record of what Google shipped, but this page should not be read as describing a live recommendation. The successor is unsourced here.
