Drexel University

Private research university in Philadelphia; darij-grinberg's department, and the source of the course that produced grinberg-graph-theory — Math 530, Spring 2022.

Its contribution to this spoke is a detail of the academic calendar rather than of the institution. Drexel runs on quarters, and Grinberg says in his first sentence that the text is bounded by "a quarter-long course." Ten weeks is why the book stops where it does: no planarity, no random or infinite graphs, no algorithms as a subject. Every other text here was written against a semester or a two-semester sequence (larsen-marx-mathematical-statistics and trench-real-analysis say so explicitly), and the difference shows up as content.

The institution is not the reason to trust the book — the tier rests on Grinberg's authorship, the arXiv record and three revisions. That is the schoolcraft-college reading holding again: where a text comes from predicts its grade and very little about its usefulness.
