Ray M. Bowen
Mechanical engineer, listed on the title page of bowen-wang-vectors-tensors-vol-2 under Mechanical
Engineering at texas-am-university, and co-author with c-c-wang of the two-volume
Introduction to Vectors and Tensors. Wikipedia's article, checked against that title-page
affiliation, gives him a 1958 BS and 1961 PhD in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M and says he was
the university's 21st president, 1994 to 2002. His own page hosts the book as a free download, which
is the url: above. Discovered while ingesting the book.
