Jocelyn Quaintance
Co-author of gallier-quaintance-math-deep, listed with jean-gallier in the Department of
Computer and Information Science at Penn. A thin node: the book's
cover page is the only evidence read at ingest, no biographical page was verified, and no identity
URL is claimed here rather than guessed. Corrected 2026-09-17 (claim drain): a search fills the node.
Quaintance began in enumerative combinatorics, was Visiting Research Assistant Professor of
Mathematics at West Virginia University 2006–2010, where she worked with H. W. Gould on the revision
of his Combinatorial Identities and edited Combinatorial Identities for Stirling Numbers: The
Unpublished Notes of H W Gould (World Scientific, 2016); since then a postdoctoral researcher at Penn
CIS and co-author with jean-gallier of the discrete-mathematics, linear-algebra, optimisation and
differential-geometry volumes. Identity: dblp 13/5224 (checked); no Wikipedia page.
