Cornell University

Private university in Ithaca, New York. The institution behind kruger-dunning-1999 — both authors were in its Department of Psychology, and every participant across the paper's four studies was a Cornell undergraduate taking a short test for course credit.

That last fact is the reason this node earns its place rather than sitting as a tag. The whole empirical base of the most famous finding in popular psychology is one selective university's undergraduate pool, sampled in cells of eleven to thirty-seven people — which is worth being able to see from the entity graph, not only from the page.
