Joseph Spinazzola

Psychologist at the Foundation Trust, Melrose, Massachusetts. Co-author of both DTD field trials with julian-d-ford and bessel-van-der-kolk (dtd-field-trial-replication), and — with van der Kolk — of the 2002–03 survey of ~1,700 children in trauma treatment that produced the argument for the diagnosis in the first place: most had suffered repeated or prolonged interpersonal trauma, and fewer than a quarter met PTSD criteria.
