Barbara Illowsky

The pair’s earlier Collaborative Statistics is the stated foundation of the openstax text, and the statistics labs carried into it are credited to them specifically — end-of-chapter activities where students design and run an analysis rather than work an exercise. In a book that otherwise declines to derive anything, those labs are where its pedagogical argument actually lives.
