Indiana University
Its School of Optometry ran V791: Quantitative Methods for Vision Research, the course thibos-fourier-analysis was written for, and holds the copyright line on six editions of the notes. Discovered while ingesting them.
The department matters more than the university here: a Fourier text produced by a school of optometry is why the book carries three chapters of inferential statistics that a mathematics department’s version would not.
