It’s a recurring source for this spoke: the Filtopia, ShinRonin, and OXI E16 pages all trace to synthanatomy.com, and now the Xnullx batch. Its coverage runs to editorial judgment, not just press-release relay — the Xnullx piece flags the plugins as plausibly AI-generated from the look of the site and UIs, which is what made that source more than a freebie listing.
And that distinction is now load-bearing. Under the tiering rule added to ../QUALITY.md on
2026-08-04, this outlet’s pages do not all get one grade: xnullx-five-free-plugins stays T2
because the writer evaluated what was in front of them, while filtopia, shinronin, oxi-e16,
hermetic-alchemy-lab and behringer-cs-mini moved to T3 because they relay the maker’s specs
and price. Same publication, different tiers, decided by what each page rests on.
